The Million Dollar Jingle Choir: $100,000 to charity and $100,000 to a fan

Welcome to an online experiment like nothing else! We are combining the two concepts of Lovejingles and the Million Dollar Homepage and give you: The Million Dollar Jingle Choir!

I have started the world’s first Facebook jingle choir (join it here) and through it I am selling the last lovejingle of the year (Dec 31st) for a whopping $1 million!

Wow, that is crazy expensive! Who in their right mind would buy that jingle? Well, a brand actually might and here is why I think they would:

If we can get a lot of fans to join the choir, perform the jingle with us (at one of six meeting places globally, or by recording their own YouTube versions), and then share the jingle through their Facebook and/or Twitter statuses – it can actually be worth the investment! Since the average Facebook user has 130 members, as few as 1,000 fans could reach 130,000 of their friends through their updates. And on top of that, it would probably catch the attention of the media which is also valuable for brands.

AND if we sell the jingle…

… then $100,000 will go to a charity organization of the fans’ choice, AND another $100,000 will be paid as compensation to one lucky fan who has completed the three steps:

1. Become a fan and join this Facebook choir (and hope for the jingle to be sold)
2. Perform the jingle (at any of the six meeting places, or by recording your own version of the jingle and posting it on YouTube)
3. Update your Facebook status with the jingle link together with “@The Million Dollar Jingle Choir: $100,000 to charity and $100,000 to a fan", or post the jingle link on Twitter together with “#Lovejingles”.

We really want to see if this idea can fly, we really want to support charity, we really want to see one of you guys get $100,000 (and become the best paid choir singer of all times), and we really want to make some money for ourselves to get us through the recession and finance our lives in a fun way.
